Description

This project is a subcontract from the University of Chicago to the University of Kentucky from a Department of Energy Grant to Support an X-ray beamline facility at the National Synchrotron Light Source-II at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The University of Chicago will provide funding for 0.5 FTE for William Rao, a University of Kentucky Employee to serve as a technician at the beamline facility. Mr. Rao’s duties include maintenance of the beamline, analysis of samples, and support of outside users and collaborators. This is off campus research and Mr. Rao is in residence at Brookhaven National Lab in Upton, NY.
