TA Center Program Manager

HDI has the opportunity to have an active role in AUCD’s Technical Assistance and Training Center on Disability Inclusion in Emergency Preparedness efforts funded by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. HDI employee, Danielle Augustin, will serve as project manager on this effort aimed to connect disability organizations and public health professionals as it pertains to emergency preparedness. This effort will focus on partnership building and collaboration as a means to empower disability organizations to get involved in and educated about best practices in emergency preparedness including, but not limited to, the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and major accidents.
