Description

The University of Kentucky (UK) shall administer services to assist Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (K-TAP) recipients and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) eligible Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) clients at sites designated by the Cabinet through a Targeted Assessment Program (TAP). UK shall also conduct screenings and assessments and work with case managers, clients and local service providers in facilitating appropriate referral and client follow-through. Provide substance abuse and domestic violence services to Kentucky Transitional Assistance· Program (K-TAP) recipients and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) eligible clients at five (5) sites designated by the Cabinet. UK shall provide services in accordance with the Cabinet's mission and goals aimed to create a seamless transition of deliverable services that build on opportunities designed to assist low income families and recipients of (K-TAP) to attain their highest potential, maintain meaningful employment and economic self sufficiency.
