Description
This project will utilize the partnership between Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement and Department
of Vehicle Regulations via a pilot program to address the problem that DVR has with motor
carriers who refuse to pay fees and taxes due. A list by region of the most persistent violators list
will be created for KVE staff to pursue collection of overdue taxes. Results will be monitored for
six months to determine lessons learned and financial ramifications.
