Description

The purpose of this professional development grant is to work collaboratively with teacher educators from the University of Kentucky with other teacher educators from across the state to update and align the curriculum universities use to prepare individuals to become career and technical teachers. Additionally, teacher educators will work together to develop instructional activities to teach in-service and pre-service teachers how to integrate academics into the technical content and participate in sustained professional development at a national level as allowed by Perkins Funds. Objectives: • Participate in two CTE teacher educator statewide workshop sessions. • Align CTE pre-service curriculum. • Develop instructional activities for integrating academics into the technical content. • Participate in sustained professional development at national conferences/workshops.
