Project Title: Technical Assistance for HIV/AIDS Surveillance in Haiti
Principle Investigator: Chris Delcher, PhD
Project Period: 05/01/2021 to 09/30/2021
Description: The University of Kentucky will perform technical assistance for the Haitian Ministry of
Public Health and Population (MSPP). Dr. Chris Delcher, Director of the Institute of Pharmaceutical
Outcomes & Policy (IPOP), will lead project analyses to evaluate Haiti’s national surveillance system
of HIV/AIDS called the Haitian Active Longitudinal Tracking of HIV System, with the French
acronym of SALVH (Suivi Actif Longitudinal du VIH en Haïti). Specific project deliverables are listed
below.
