Description

Research project will test the outcome of an intervention designed to enable patient/family participation in interdisciplinary teams (IDTs) through use of a commercially available videophone. Approximately 272 hospice caregivers will receive the intervention, and 272 hospice caregivers will receive standard hospice care and serve as the control. This randomized controlled trail will involve hospices from the Midwest US over 4 years.
