The Alzheimer's Biomarker Consortium - Down Syndrome (ABC-DS) -- Project 1 Core

University of Kentucky Dr. Donna Wilcock will serve as a Co-I in Project 1 led by Drs. Head and Ances. She will: 1. Assist in the interpretation of neuroinflammation and cerebrovascular disease outcomes described in the Aims. 2. Assist in the preparation of manuscripts and progress reports 3. Participate in conference calls related to Project 1 and ABC-DS overall Dr. Kathryn van Pelt will be a postdoctoral scholar on Project 1 who will work closely with Drs. Head, Wilcock and Ances. 1. Take the lead working with Drs. Head and Ances and the DMB to test hypotheses outlined in the Aims. 2. Take the lead on preparing manuscripts with Drs. Ances and Head with a focus on neuroinflammation and cerebrovascular pathology. 3. Present study outcomes at conferences and participate in ABC-DS calls and meetings
