The Carl West Reporting Workshop

The Carl West Reporting Workshop would bring to campus some of the top investigative reporters in the region to discuss everything from how to recognize public service reporting projects to writing accurate and legally safe stories. We would team up with the Kentucky Press Association, the Kentucky Broadcasters Association, and two professional SPJ chapters, along with journalism students from UK, Eastern Kentucky University, Northern Kentucky University, University of Louisville, Western Kentucky University and other higher education institutions. I anticipate holding this program during the spring semester if the grant is awarded
