Description

Although tramatic brain injury affects millions of individuals each year, there are few clinically useful pharmacotherapies for treatment of the acute and chronic phase of this condition. in experimental TBI multiple variables are carefully controlled, significantly increasing the liklihood that a songle drug treatment will show efficacy. We hypothesize that combining multiple agents that target specific phases of TBI-related neuropathology may provide the optimal environment for more sinificant and sustained recovery.
