Description

The University of Kentucky will quantify factors affecting the detectability of the Common Raven (a threatened species) in cliff habitat, quantify landscape attributes of breeding locations at multiple spatial scales and develop and initiate protocols for monitoring the occupancy of key potential breeding habitats in Kentucky. This information will be used to assess and develop management actions that are consistent with long-term welfare of the Common Raven in accordance with objectives listed in Kentucky's Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy.
