The Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources - Regional Center Pilot

Project Summary: The goal of this Type II proposed project ($15,000 requested) is to create an additional eight digital moviemaking kits for American history teachers using the Library of Congress (LOC) electronic primary sources and to make these kits available on the web through the existing infrastructure of Digital Docs in a Box (www.digitaldocsinabox.org). We also hope to train over 40 in-service teachers and 60 pre-service teachers in the use of digital documentaries and the digital documentary kits.
