Our key success this year was to rebuild our research team and improve activity in interventional trials. We had to replace 2 of our 3 research nurses. We were able to recruit 2 additional research nurses and now have 3 full-time research nurse coordinators. We also have approval to hire an additional research associate to help with regulatory submissions and invoicing. We were again able to participate meaningfully in interventional studies again and were able to recruit 12 patients into intervential studies in 2016. We anticipate being able to contribute significantly to the IGNITE study enrollment in the upcoming year with 8-10 patients total, and are hoping to be chosen as a site for additional Vertex trials. If we access to trials that a large percentage of our population is eligible for, we can double our enrollment numbers in the upcoming year.
