Therapeutic Development Center FY 2018

This year has been the year of changes with our focus to rebuild our research team and improve our research effort. Dr. Krishna Pancham, MD was appointed as a new TON director to relieve Dr. Michael Anstead, who has also been the sole provider for our adult CF patients in our institution. Dr. Anstead continues to help Dr. Pancham in this transition. Christina Payne, BSN has now taken the role of supervisor research nurse coordinator. We were able to recruit one additional research nurses and an additional research associate to help with regulatory submissions and invoicing. In term of study participation, our main highlight was patient enrollment for ongoing IGNITE study with eight patient so far. We were in top 5 in this study recruitment.
