ABSTRACT
The new TN SPDG will provide training and coaching to two cohorts of 25 school teams in order to increase
the provision of high-quality instruction designed to be accessible, rigorous, meaningful, and highly
engaging for students with complex needs. The work will improve access for more students to regular
coursework including career and technical education courses and standards-aligned courses. The
evaluation program will focus on the impact of training and coaching on student outcomes, which
includes graduation rates and postsecondary opportunities for this population.
