Description

With regard to her work for this proposal, Dr. DiGiacomo will draw on her community-based and youth-centered research on the study and design of more equitable learning experiences that extend young people’s lived experiences, interests, and expertise. Her interdisciplinary training and various cultural sensibilities will be invaluable to this project as she co-leads the large scale interview project and supports the local co-design processes, from partnership development to testing, refinement, and dissemination of measures and tools that center on how informal learning experiences transform later life identities and opportunities for young people.
