Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Jessica Burris, PhD (local Principal Investigator) is a clinical psychologist with expertise in psychosocial and behavioral oncology. For over 15 years, she’s led or assisted with the design, evaluation, and dissemination of multi-level (i.e., patient, provider, and/or system) and multi-faceted (i.e., face-to-face, online, and/or written) interventions related to cancer survivorship and cancer care delivery. For the current project, Dr. Burris will take responsibility for ensuring the optimal design of the Canvas course used to house all materials for the Kentucky LEADS Collaborative lung cancer survivorship care educational intervention. Dr. Burris is adept at the use of Canvas, as this is the learning management system in place at the University of Kentucky, and she’s used it for classroom instruction countless times. The day-to-day activities related to outfitting the Canvas course will be the responsibility of Courtney Blair, MS, a research associate who works in UK Markey Cancer Center’s Patient-Oriented and Population Sciences Shared Resource Facility (POP SRF); Dr. Burris serves as the Director of POP SRF.
