Training Resource Center: Adoption Support Programs

Project staff of the Center for the Study of Violence Against Children (CSVAC) through the University of Kentucky College of Social Work will provide evidenc€based training and consultation services on issues related to adoption promotion and stability for foster parents, adoptive parents, DCBS workers and other professionals interacting with children eligible for services through IV-B funding. Quarterly communication betweenCenter staff and the DCBS Adoption Branch will continue in an effort to identify how critical information learned from the Center can be applied to helping the DCBS workers help the adoptive parents. Training activities conducted in the service regions ~ CXVAC staff for DCBS workers will be documented through the Training Records Information System
