Training Resource Center: Credit for Learning Program

To enhance the education experience of social work students interested in professional child welfare practice, the University of Kentucky operates a field education program designed to assist the Cabinet for Families and Children child welfare employees in completing their graduate level education. Field Faculty from the UK College of Social Work arelocated throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky to provide education support, primarily to child protection workers, who have chose to return to school and pursue a Master's of Social Work degree.
