TreaT NOW
Thitinart Sithisarn, MD
Abstract
The goal of this observational, quasi-experimental research design is to emulate a
randomized controlled trial using both retrospective and prospective data to assess the
effectiveness of the primary pharmacologic agent for the treatment of NOWS. By leveraging
real-world clinical data, we aim to generate causal insights that mimic the conditions of a
randomized controlled trial while overcoming practical constraints.
