Description

The University of Kentucky (UK) shall provide epidemiological support and genetic consultation to the Division of Maternal and Child Health. UK shall ensure that the goals and objectives of the Federal State Systems Development Initiative (SSDI) grant are met. UK shall perform medical record abstraction and active surveillance monitoring for the Kentucky Birth Surveillance Registry (KBSR). The University of Kentucky (UK) shall: 1. Complete data analysis for evaluation of the Health Access Nurturing Development Services (HANDS) program as requested by program staff. 2. Perform medical records abstraction and active surveillance as well as provide genetic consultation for KBSR. 3. Complete data analyses on other maternal and child health projects as requested by the Director of the Division of Maternal and Child Health. 4. Collaborate with other regional partners by participating as requested on the HRSA Regional Genetics and Newborn Screening Grant. 5. Provide ongoing technical consultation in genetic related issues to the Department for Public Health. 6. Participate in meetings and committees as requested by the Director of the Division of Maternal and Child Health. 7. Provide biostatistics training and support to the Division of Maternal and Child Health
