UK Birth Surveillance Registry FY10

DPH/Division of Adult and Child Health Improvement is contracting with The University of Kentucky (UK) to assure that the goals and objectives of the Early Childhood Development Branch and Kentucky Birth Surveillance Registry (KBSR) are met and that appropriate diagnoses are included for children identified with birth defects and/or genetic conditions. This contract shall also improve the quality of KBSR data and availability of Kentucky-specific birth defect data. UK shall provide leadership to the Early Childhood Development Branch including program development, monitoring, budget preparation and promotion of programs. Provide genetic expertise to the KBSR, a statewide birth defects registry for children birth to five years.
