UK CARES: Early Childhood Lab CARES Act Funding

One of the Division of Child Care’s primary concerns during this pandemic is preserving the overall child care capacity throughout the Commonwealth. DCC hopes all child care programs can sustain the closure and re-open when deemed appropriate through Governor Beshear’s “Healthy At Work” plan. As you are aware, Kentucky will utilize federal CARES Act funding to provide financial relief to all child care programs affected by COVID-19. The Division of Child Care will begin to disperse these funds as soon as all childcare programs sign an agreement to use the funds for the designated uses established by the federal CARES Act.
