Abstract
Official University of Kentucky (UK) reimbursement request to establish and operate a 400-bed
Alternate Care Site (ACS) at 1401 Sports Center Drive, Lexington, KY 40509. This facility was
designated as a COVID-10 positive ACS and operated by the University of Kentucky HealthCare
System (UK HealthCare). This was established due to the major disaster declaration due to the
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic beginning on January 20, 2020 and continuing.
