The overall purpose of the KEDS (Kentucky Early Childhood Data System) is to support the collection, analysis, and reliability of assessment data from approved Curriculum-Based Assessments (CBAs) to provide reports to KDE on the progress of students across the state in meeting Kentucky's Early Childhood Standards and Benchmarks, the three Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) child outcomes, and the two OSEP target summary statements.
