Description
The epidemiologist and research analyst are key personnel positions for the funding of the Centers for
Disease Control (CDC) cooperative agreement and the state of Kentucky. These positions shall be
required to collect, review analyze and report on incidence and prevalence of HIVIAIDS infection within
the state as mandated by law, as a basis for planning, implementation and evaluation on prevention and
control programs. They shall be responsible for interpretation of laws, regulations, policies and
procedures for the HIVIAIDS program to ensure compliance with state and federal disease reporting
requirements.
