Description

The University of Kentucky will maintain and improve the Kentucky Early Childhood Data System (KEDS) platform. The design of the KEDS platform will be based on: 1) assessment tools approved by First Steps central office staff, and 2) ability to import appropriate TOTS data to allow for analyses based on appropriate demographic factors and to reduce data entry by First Steps staff, and 3) final cross walk of appropriate assessment instruments. Fields for the demographic data component of the platform will be based on the ability to import the data from TOTS in a way that supports reliable and valid demographic data to allow for cross group comparisons.
