UK Kentucky Deaf Blind Project Main Grant 2006-2007

The vendor will work with local school districts to address identification and evaluation of students who have severe or multiple disabilities induding deaf/blindness; provide competency-based technical assistance and training to build local capacity for addressing the learning needs of these studenls along the transition continuum. The university will assit the Kentucky Department of Education in providing slatewide technical assislance to address local, state and national initiatives around low incidence populations. They will collaborate with families and Interagency service providers in developing and implementing activities.
