UK / Kentucky Deaf-Blind Project Main Grant

The project will work with local, state and national partners to 1) address identification of students who have dual sensory impairments including complex or multiple needs; and 2) improve outcomes for students/families /service providers and systems using competency based needs assessments. Work will be completed using both training and on-site technical assistance that is developed and disseminated based on recommended practices including strategies to build local capacity as well as to support the Kentucky Department of Education and local school districts statewide in addressing the State Improvement Plan specific to the delivery of special education services.
