Description
This research project continues to document the distribution, relative abundance, population demographics, reproductive output, and habitat use of black bears (Ursus americanus) in Kentucky. Data collected will be used to generate predictive models that will allow the KDFWR to evaluate the effects of population growth and harvest mortality to Kentucky's growing bear population.
