Description

Technical Support to execute federally funded environmental construction projects. The University will provide technical support to assist the Department of Military Affairs in meeting their obligation to execute federally funded projects at Kentucky Army National Guard locations. The Department of military Affairs will establish project priorities. The primary work center will be in Frankfort with workspace and office equipment provided. KWRRI will be involved in developing plans and specifications and overseeing contract work for construction projects. Projects include installation of oil water separators, closed loop recycling washrack systems, kitchen grease traps, aboveground tanks, containment structures and portable buildings, removal of underground tanks, transfer of paper building plans to CAD system and spill plan, stormwater plan and groundwater protection plan development. CONTRACTED EMPLOYEES WILL USE A STATE OR UNIVERSITY APPROVED
