Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Data about SNAP participants’ lack of access to affordable, nutritious foods through supermarkets, direct farm sales, and transportation, indicate the need for multi-level, integrated policy, systems and environmental changes. The third year of the three-year project seeks to increase community capacity to impact PSE at the local level. It begins with assessing the PSE of eight communities and progresses to the development and testing of tools and processes for engaging SNAP-eligible participants to address community change.
