UL KCP Professional Education

Scope of Work: University of Kentucky, Kentucky Cancer Program (UK-KCP) will distribute unique professional education materials developed by University of Louisville Kentucky Cancer Program (UL-KCP). These materials will be used for statewide promotion of the Kentucky Women’s Cancer Screening Program’s expanded eligibility guidelines. UK-KCP Regional Cancer Control Specialists, utilizing academic detailing, will reach out to a wide range of local primary care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants), Federally Qualified Health Centers, health care systems, breast centers, and others. Deliverables: UK-KCP Regional Cancer Control Specialists will provide academic detailing to primary care providers in nine area development districts in Eastern and Central Kentucky. Reporting: UK-KCP will report activities quarterly to UL-KCP. These reports will include information on academic detailing activities, such as: date of service, location, type of health care provider, etc.
