Grants and Contracts Details
Description
This project will use unique data from the University of Michigan’s Panel Study of Income
Dynamics (PSID) combined with other currently available data to conduct high priority
research on household food security over time. The USDA has been a long-time funder
of food security questions on the PSID, and recently renewed funding for the 18-item
food security scale. The research will focus on economic analyses of longitudinal
household food insecurity and its links to food assistance program participation, work,
income, consumption, health, and wealth.
