Grants and Contracts Details
Description
In FY 04, the project will complete an analysis of the Central Billing and Information System (CBIS)
database and transform the data into a form that is appropriate for statistical analysis to determine the factors that influence the types
and levels of services that are currently provided to infants and toddlers enrolled in the program. Among the factors to be studied
include analysis by regional, gender, and other demographic variables of: date at which services begin, type and intensity of services;
the correlation between the discipline of the primary level evaluator and the services specified in the Individualized Family Service
Plan (IFSP); provider attendance at IFSP meetings; age/gender/residence of child and other demographic variables at the time they
exit the program, etc. A written report of findings will be provided to the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs
along with 50 hard copies of the report for dissemination by CCSHCN to key stakeholders.
Report findings will be used by CCSHCN, the State Interagency Coordinating Council, and the Commission Board of Governor's to
assess and evaluate current service delivery practices, guide training and other professional developmental initiatives, and improve
program operations through regulatory changes as necessary.
