University of Kentucky Bicycle Plan Transportation Implementation Project

This project will implement the UK Bicycle Master Plan adopted by the University of Kentucky in June 2005. Funds will be used to implement Phase I, including all ~short-term needs identified in the plan. These include bike lane striping, bike path markings', bike route signage, safety education and informational materials encouraging students and employees to bike to campus. The project will also expand a student-run free bike loan program and establish a,campus bike workshop as recommended by the plan.
