University of Kentucky Center for Poverty, Research Partnerships on Disconnected Populations

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

We propose to study the extent and consequences of disconnected populations in Tennessee by establishing a research partnership with the Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in cooperation with the Department of Human Services in the State of Tennessee. This partnership will shed important light on the scope of disconnected populations in Tennessee, and will serve to inform policy makers in Tennessee' s Families First program, as well as in ACF. The analysis will be based on both administrative and survey data maintained and collected by CBER, and the research team will be headed up by Dr. Donald Bruce, Associate Professor of Economics.
