Description

The University of Kentucky Research Foundation shall provide a nurse manager, health educator, two field representatives, one informatics non-clinical nurse, epidemiologist, program coordinator, and clinical nurse educator that are key positions for the funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) cooperative agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky. These positions are required to oversee, conduct, and coordinate the Vaccine for Children Program in Kentucky and increase immunization rates across the Commonwealth. The positions shall be responsible for the interpretation of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures for the Vaccine for Children Program (VFC) and for the Immunization Branch to ensure compliance with state and federal disease reporting requirements.
