Village Model Community Needs Assessment: Proposal

A Caring Place – Community Needs Assessment The Villages Model is an innovative approach designed to empower older adults to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through community support and engagement. This project seeks to gather critical insights that will inform the development and implementation of effective strategies to promote social integration among older adults. This opportunity will explore the development of a “Village,” central to the Villages Movement in Lexington, KY, to enhance social integration for older adults. Partnering with A Caring Place, this initiative will be a collaboration with an academic institution to assess the resources, needs, and structure necessary to start a Village.
