Vitamin C Infusion for Treatment in Sepsis Associated Acute Lung Injury (CITRIS-ALI) Scope of Work University of Kentucky Co-Investigators: Peter Morris, MD and Ashley Montgomery-Yates, MD 1. We will perform duties for study start up and protocol implementation including site coordination, IRB and regulatory approvals and support, and training for our research and necessary hospital staff. 2. For the remainder of this grant award, we will recruit up to 15 Medicine ICU patients (possibly more depending on needs) meeting enrollment criteria as defined in the study protocol. In addition to recruitment, we will perform procedures specified by the study protocol for data collection, data management, quality control, and troubleshooting. Throughout the progress of the study we will participate in conference calls to discuss study progress. 3. Throughout the study we will attend training and study progress meetings as needed to participate in any study training or discussions. 4. At the end of the study, we will perform study closure procedures including database closure and manuscript preparation.
