    Description

    The proposed emergency generator and associated equipment address WUKY's most pressing emergency communications need: the ability to continue to operate WUKY at full power, even when electrical service to our Clays Ferry transmitter site has failed. The ice bridge will protect both the generator and the shelter which houses the WUKY transmitter from ice falling off the nearby 800' KET (Kentucky Educational Television) tower during the winter months.
