Description
This proposal is to support the State of West Virginia and Marshall University in its ongoing implementation and refinement of the West Virginia CANS and FAST tools as safety and risk assessment and referral/triage tools in its trauma informed, evidence- based social services. The following steps are proposed in the use of the Transformational Collaborative Outcomes Management (TCOM) framework for this process.
Project Deliverable(s)
Level of Care Algorithm Development, Technical Assistance & Testing
1. Dr. Lyons and Dr. Fernando will provide technical assistance and consultation on the implementation of the Level of Care algorithm based on the CANS and FAST tools. Technical assistance to include a case review based on the algorithm.
2. Dr. Shimshock and his team will provide reporting and testing on the algorithm upon completion of the case review, using West Virginia’s CANS data.
