Abstract

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₂₂H ₂₆N⁺·Cl^-, the piperidine ring is in a chair conformation and the two styryl groups are in axial and equatorial positions. The mol-ecule has a hydrogen bond between the NH group and the chloride anion.
