Abstract

A delta gap source formulation suitable for use in locally corrected Nyström (LCN) discretizations of electric field integral equations is presented. The delta-gap is applied to an edge (or group of edges) between a set of faces. Due to the point-sampling used in the LCN method, the delta gap effect is distributed across the faces shared by the source edges. The LCN delta gap is validated using results from the moment method.
