Abstract
Fungi are rich sources of medically useful, as well as toxic, secondary metabolites. In this issue of Chemistry & Biology, Bok et al. [1] show that, in Aspergillus nidulans, microarray analysis and manipulation of a global regulator can identify novel metabolite genes.
