Abstract

This paper is concerned with a review of previous and current hydrologic data acquisition and management techniques for urban watersheds woth a goal of establishing some guidelines for effective data collection and subsequent processing. The guidelines presented in this paper were applied in the gauging station in West Lafayette, Indiana. A general description of the gauging station and of the data management system are included.
