Abstract

Packed columns are particularly suited to simulating the progress of diagenetic fronts, which can entail pronounced changes in mineralogy and pore-water chemistry over relatively short distances, in some instances on the order of centimeters. We describe a technique using column reactors to study diagenesis associated with ground-water flow. -from Authors
