Abstract

We have calculated the leading three-loop recoil correction in the muonium hyperfine splitting. After recent numerical calculation of the remaining two-loop corrections this term of the form ∼(α/π)³(m_e/m_μ) ln³ (m_μ/m_e) is the largest of the yet unknown terms.
