Abstract

A test track and car were developed to facilitate evaluation of GPS receiver dynamic performance. The test car moved the receivers being tested through a repeatable path that mimicked motions typically encountered in agricultural field operations including parallel swaths, headland turns and contour following. The system was used to quantify receiver dynamic performance anomalies that may impact precision agricultural field operations.
