Abstract

A technique for time-series measurements of mixture fraction was proposed for a large class on non-reacting flows. The comparison of time series measurements of mixture fraction in turbulent non-reactive jets with scalar time-series measurements in diffusion flames was also studied. The technique can be used to evaluate power spectral densities (PSD) associated with fluctuations in the mixture fraction.
